Manchester Markets and Car boots

There are loads of markets and car boots in and around Manchester. You're best checking the dates and times for car boots but there are markets on every week.

Farmers Markets
The market is held the weekend (Friday and Saturday) of the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. It is open between 8.30am and 6pm.
They sell fresh vegetables such as carrots dug from the soil the night before, meats (ostrich, wild boar, pork, venison, lamb, beef, hams), sausages, turkey, chicken, fish (smoked salmon, trout and kippers), jams and honey, farm baked cakes and pies, farmhouse chocolates, a vast range of cheeses (including goat's cheese), butter and dairy products, free range eggs, herbs and spices, marinated olives, sun dried tomatoes, and fine English wines and liqueurs.

Location
The market is on the fountain side of Piccadilly Gardens, next to the statue of Queen Victoria, in Manchester city centre.
