Speed Dater events are held in the Loft Bar on the top floor of Tiger Tiger. We have exclusive use of this stylish bar. Happy hour prices run until 7.30pm.

Speed dating is the answer:

They hold SpeedDater events in upmarket bars. This makes for a great atmosphere and gives you the opportunity to stay afterwards and carry on talking to the people you've just met.

They close off an area of the bar, use a function room or sometimes take over the whole venue exclusively for SpeedDaters.

They start the speed dating early on - that's the ice breaker! When you arrive, you're given a scorecard, a pen and a badge. After each date you mark on the scorecard whether or not you would like to see them again. So, if you tick eight people and four of them tick you, you will receive four matches. After the event you can log onto our website to check your matches.

How it Works

After the event Manchester Speed Dater enter all the badge numbers onto their system. Once they've done that they send everyone an email to confirm that the event is ready. Alternatively you can login to the website using your using name and password to check if the event is ready.

Add your ticks:

You can now add your ticks. Click here and you will be taken to an online scorecard with the badge numbers and names of all those you dated. Here you may click on ''yes'' for anyone you are interested in seeing again. Once you have added your ticks you hit submit. Make sure you haven''t made any mistakes because once you''ve hit submit you can''t correct your matches.

Your Matches:

A match someone you have ticked ''yes'' to who has also ticked ''yes'' to you. Once your ticks have been submitted you can click on ''Your Matches'' to see your results so far. Not everyone may have added their ticks yet so you may want to come back later. Most people will enter their ticks within 48 hours of an event. Once everyone has added their ticks, you will be notified by email.
